Students Pre-Departure Check-list

Following receipt of your Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE), you should begin making travel arrangements. Make sure you’re prepared by using the pre-flight checklist below!

Check-list

1. Passport – Before arriving, make sure your passport is valid for at least six months. Making hard copies of your passport is also a smart idea in case of an emergency.

2. Visa – Before you board a flight, confirm that you have a visa that is up to date and in your possession, including an electronic copy of your confirmation of enrollment, or eCoE. More details on visas can be found on our page of frequently asked questions.

3. vaccine documentation – For travel to Australia, you are not required to present documentation of your COVID-19 vaccine. However, for their own safety, we advise all travelers to get immunized.

As some countries may mandate vaccinations, be sure to verify the rules of your airline and any countries you are transiting through.

4. Flights – Confirm that your arrival date will allow you enough time to get acclimated to your new city and institution before the start of your study period. Along with your passport and visa paperwork, keep the specifics of your flight in a safe and secure location. Make no trip plans until you have received your student visa.

5. Travel Insurance – You should also think about purchasing travel insurance, which can help with things like flight delays and some medical expenses. Get in touch with us for additional details and suggestions on the best travel insurance plan for you.

6. Contact information – It’s a good idea to travel with a list of emergency contact information. As well as the information for your embassy, lodging, and institution, make a note of your family and any other local contacts. Keep our phone number in case you need to call us when you get here.

7. Accommodation – Before your arrival, we’ll make sure you’ve reserved and confirmed your lodging, including the address and phone number of the establishment.
